Communication & Language

Our Communication & Language Development experiences support infants' emerging communication skills, language development, and early social interactions. Through responsive relationships, meaningful interactions, music, and literacy experiences, infants begin building the foundations for communication and lifelong learning.

  • Daily stories, songs, and language-rich interactions expose infants to a variety of words, sounds, and patterns of communication.

  • Shared reading experiences support listening skills, attention, and early language development.

  • Repetition, rhymes, and simple books help infants develop familiarity with language and encourage early communication.

Music

Music provides infants with opportunities to explore sounds, rhythm, and self-expression in a nurturing and engaging environment.

  • Songs, finger plays, and musical activities support auditory development and language acquisition.
